Matalan opens two more stores in Malta

On 16 March, members of the press, Camilleri Group’s staff, clientele and guests were invited to the new store opening party for Matalan in Republic Street, Valletta. The latest additions to the Matalan outlets in Malta are located in Republic Street, Valletta and in Smart Shopping Complex, Birkirkara.

Matalan is a leading British retail chain founded in 1985 by John Hargreaves. Matalan brings affordable fashion for both the family and home and operates 227 stores throughout the UK and 29 international stores. Matalan first opened its doors in Malta on 10 March 2017 at The Strand, Sliema and in Zabbar Road, Fgura.

Matalan provides everything under one roof, from affordable fashion for the whole family to stylish homewares. The Camilleri Group, which incorporates leading fashion retail brands, confectionery and catering are the representatives of Matalan in Malta.

Damian Hopkins, Matalan’s international director was present on the night to inaugurate the new stores together with Anthony Camilleri, CEO of Camilleri Group of Companies.
