Additionally, the Design and Technology Expo will bring together students to exhibit their innovative product design projects, electronics, graphics, projects with custom-built materials and a number of hands-on design and make challenges.

Daniela Bagnaschi, senior manager Marketing, at GO, said: “For the third consecutive year, GO is the main sponsor of the Malta Ro- botics Olympiad. This is because we are committed to ensuring Malta is ready for the future. As technology continues to quickly develop, GO remains at the forefront of investment in infrastructure, including fibre and a mobile network that is already 5G ready. We also continue to invest in education, including events like MRO, which give young people and their families an understanding in science and technology, which we all need, to make the future the best it can be.”

James Catania, Education officer ICT at the Ministry of Education and Employment, which is organising the Olympiad, said: “This event brings young people together to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills through challenging and educational robotics challenges. It is also a great event for all the family to come and learn about technology and to peer into an exciting future which is in fact just around the corner. Organising an event on this scale is obviously a challenge and we are very thankful to GO for the support they have provided over the years, and again this year, to ensure MRO is a success.” More information on the Malta Robotics Olympiad is available at www.facebook.com/MaltaRoboticsOlympiad/?fref=ts
