Bestselling author and Entrepreneur to address the 2018 B2B Conference and Expo

Sahar Hashemi will be addressing the B2B Conference and Expo which will be held at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre on Friday, 1 June.

Sahar Hashemi OBE is an entrepreneur and speaker on innovation and entrepreneurial mind-set in corporations. A former lawyer, she is best known for building two famous brands: Coffee Republic – the UK’s first coffee bar chain, which she and her brother grew to 110 stores and a £30m turnover and exited in 2001, and Skinny Candy, the guilt-free confectionery brand which she sold to Glisten plc in 2007.

She is a bestselling author. Her first book Anyone Can Do It – building Coffee Republic from our kitchen table is the UK’s best-selling book on entrepreneurship, after the book by Richard Branson, and has been translated into six languages.

Her latest book Switched On, published in May 2010, is based on her experience with innovation and employee engagement in large corporations and sets out eight habits to infuse your organisation with a ‘can do’ entrepreneurial attitude.

She was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s 2012 Birthday Honours List “for services to the UK economy and to charity”.

Taking place on one actionpacked day, the B2B Conference & Expo will bring together local and international expert speakers who will share insights and interact with the audience. Entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to network and share experiences with fellow business leaders during the event, which will see over 100 different exhibitors and 1,000 delegates.
