The Concept Stadium celebrates entrepreneurship by mentoring students

The Concept Stadium, a local boutique marketing consultancy firm, has offered its expertise to mentor a group of students who took part in the JAYE Malta National Youth Fair 2018. They will also be vying for the title of Company or Start Up of the Year at the Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Malta Foundation finals being held on 26 and 27 May.

“At the Concept Stadium, we strongly believe in the power of entrepreneurship, seeing that we were a start-up ourselves. We wanted to help these students achieve their idea through mentoring and consultancy in the de- sign and printing of their packaging material. With the assistance of Lorraine Borg, an integral member of our Creative Studio, we managed to help them out by turning their idea into a reality. We believe that encouraging the spirit of entrepreneurship will help them when facing the challenges on their future business growth. We wish the students the best of luck for the finals,” Jonathan Dalli and Jonathan Chetcuti, founders and directors of the Concept Stadium.

This year marks the 30th year of the Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Malta Foundation in Malta. Every year since 1988, young, budding entrepreneurs get together with their friends and colleagues in sixth form and (since 2014) university level to set-up a mini-company or startup as part of the JAYE Malta Company Programme and Start Up Programme. The theme for this year’s National Youth Fair was “follow their footsteps” with a selection of alumni and collaborators having their achievements printed across three floors of The Point shopping mall on celebratory footsteps to inspire this year’s cohort of young business leaders.

“We dared to dream, and we achieved, thanks to the mentor- ing and support offered by the Concept Stadium. We managed to display our entrepreneurial flair to the general public and independent sets of judges during the course of the day-long event and we are very happy with what we have managed to achieve,” said Luke Bonnici, PR Manager of ACE, JAYE.

With 16 teams participating in the Company programme and nine in the Start-up, close to 150 students displayed their work at the event.
