Launch of restaurant booking market study

Malta Hotels & Restaurants Association (MHRA) invites all restauranteurs to participate in a restaurant-industry initiated European wide survey on the restaurant distribution market. This survey is carried out by the European umbrella association HOTREC, with the support of Malta Hotels & Restaurants Association (MHRA) and of the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland (HESSO Valais).

The data gathered through this survey will help MHRA at national level, as well as HOTREC at European level, to get an overview of the restaurant reservation and food delivery market in Malta and in Europe. This will not only help it to better understand the restaurant service distribution market but also to consider any necessary future actions which might be needed.

The completion of the survey should take around 10 minutes. Your contribution will give access to valuable data for the industry. Restaurant chains and co-operations that wish to deliver aggregated data for several properties as well are kindly asked to directly contact Dr Roland Schegg ( roland.schegg@hevs.ch).

All data provided will be handled confidentially and used only for statistical purposes. Any conclusions on the restaurant and the person are impossible due to statistical aggregations of the data.
