Annual Dine 4 Diabetes fundraiser held

This year's Dine 4 Diabetes, the annual fund-raising event of the Maltese Diabetes Association, was held recently at the Reef Club, Westin Dragonara Resort, St Julian's. The event was attended by around 350 guests from all walks of life. Entertainment was provided by Andreana and Vinny Vella JR and his band. The event was made possible through the support of GasanMamo Insurance Limited, MPS Limited, CSB Group, Collis Williams Limited, Fino Group, GasanZammit Motors Limited, General Soft Drinks Limited, Red October Limited, P. J. Sutters Marketing Limited, Technoline Limited, Mapfre MSV Life, The Westin Dragonara Resort Limited, V. J. Salomone Pharma Limited, Plaza Centres plc and ATG Limited.

At the end of the event a raffle was organised with several wonderful gifts donated by Kenneth Zammit Tabona, Forestals Group, SG Solutions − i centre, Virtu Ferries Limited, Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Golden Sands, Dolmen Hotel Resort, Grand Hotel Excelsior, The Westin Dragonara Resort, La Falconeria Hotel, Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa Attard, Corinthia Budapest, Bubbles Accessories, Antoine Debono Jewellers, Red October Limited, Corinthia Hotel St George's Bay, db San Antonio Hotel & Spa, db Seabank Hotel & Spa, Miranda Publishers Limited, Charles Degiorgio Limited and V. During the event guests were addressed by Chris. J. Delicata, president of the Maltese Diabetes Association. The Association also honoured and recognised its former president, Anna Zammit McKeon who served as president for almost two decades. A gift, as a sign of appreciation, was presented to her at the event.
