Birżebbuġa Lions maintain good form

Promoted side Birżebbuġa Lions maintained their good form of late as they are sharing the first place of the 8‐a‐side darts league table after drawing 4‐4 against Floriana Ajax MCP.

It was a very balanced game al‐ though the Lions opened up a three‐point lead against the Greens who slowly started to balance the encounter and even managed to salvage a point after winning the last two games.

In another highly anticipated game, champions Floriana Pre‐ mier Car A finished with the same score of 4‐4 against Ham‐ run Bayern A.

Both sides offered wonderful darts and impressed those pres‐ ent as they have quality players in their squads.

As soon as the Reds opened up a two‐point advantage, the Greens were quick to equalize the score so that the game kept alternating from one advantage to the other with both sides end‐ ing up in a draw.

Sliema Club Lounge A and Żejtun Laċċi Gold Lady Jewellers got three important points after beating PO's Bar (5‐3) and Ham‐ run Bayern B (7‐1) respectively.

In the second division, the lead‐ ers are Birgu Boċċi Club A and Domus Men's who won their matches.

The Vittoriosa side beat Żebbug Rangers DT 7‐1 while Domus Men didn't have an easy outing as they still won 5‐3 against Cox Bar.

Top Gun Bar got three impor‐ tant points after a positive result of 7‐1 against Leah's Bar A while Duke's Darts Club beat Beland Żejtun 6‐2.

Żejtun Laċċi Maypole are in first place of the third division where they continued with the series of positive results after beating Tal‐Ġilju Darts Team 6‐2.

Munchies Bar got their first win of the season after winning 6‐2 against Sliema Club Lounge B. On the other hand, we had an ab‐ solute tie between Domus Ladies Team and Nicolo Isouard with the final score being 4 ‐4.
