Biography
The famous British actor, who will always be remembered as the man who played the role of James Bond, the film series of the 007 agent. For a period of 12 years from 1973 to 1985, longer than any of the other performers of this role in the legendary film series, he embodied the essence of the super agent and this brought him the fame of a global movie star. He owed his knightly title, received in 2003, to his charity work. The actor was the Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund – UNICEF – as well as the Goodwill Ambassador of Monaco. A special relationship formed between the principality and Sir Roger – he was a resident, spent a lot of time here with his wife in his final years and fondly called Monte-Carlo
"a city without envy". The funeral took place in Monaco, as was his wish – a place that gave him peace and tranquillity.
