Matchroom Boxing, the well-known promotion company based in Great Britain and headed by Eddie Hearn, once again organized one of the most exclusive events at the MonteCarlo Casino – the Monte-Carlo Boxing Showdown. The headliners of this boxing event held at the Casino's magnificent Salle Médecin were Russian athletes. The winner of the event was Alexander Besputin, who won the fight against Radzhab Butaev and defended his WBA welterweight belt.
