Technology Investment 2017 conference showcases new technology
The Technology Investment conference was held on April 20, at Shangri-La Hotel, for 40 representatives from foreign companies to showcase new technology in mining, construction, renewable energy, and agriculture.
Representatives from German, Austrian, Swiss, Australian, French, and South African companies participated in the conference organized by BM Mongolian Partners.
The organizers noted that Technology Investment is the first conference organized in Mongolia to showcase technology from five different sectors. They also highlighted that the conference not only showcases the best cutting-edge technology used in these key industries, but also offers domestic companies an opportunity to meet new investors.
CEO of BM Mongolian Partners J.Myadagmaa noted, “The builders of one of the largest coal refinery plants in the world, Allmineral, sent representatives from Germany. A company that builds machinery to recycle water used in mining, Andritz, sent some members of their administration.”
“This conference is beneficial in that it focuses on the five main sectors in the country. It gives businesses an opportunity,” said B.Bat-Erdene, head of Ulaanbaatar's Manufacturing and Innovation Office.
