Deputy Minister of Health attends a U.S. meeting on global water resources

Deputy Minister of Health L. Byambasuren participated in high-level meetings organized by the global partnership Sanitation and Water for All, held on April 19-20, in Washington, D.C.

Ministers and officials in charge of water, sanitation, and hygiene policy attended the meetings. As part of the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, they discussed national plans to meet the challenges of water supply, sanitation, and hygiene-related targets, as well as required resources.

Deputy Minister L. Byambasuren attended a meeting on the implementation of sustainable development goals and dealing with climate change and disaster, and gave a speech about the Government of Mongolia’s work and efforts to deal with these critical issues.
