EXHIBITION FOR THE LATE REVOLUTION­ARY S. ZORIG UNVEILED

On the occasion of the 55th posthumous birthday of S.Zorig, a prominent politician and one of the leaders of Mongolia’s 1990 democratic revolution, a photograph­y exhibition was unveiled at the National Museum of Mongolia. The exhibition, which opened on April 20, was organized by the National Museum of Mongolia and the Zorig Foundation.

S.Zorig was brutally murdered in his home in October 1998.

The exhibition features over 100 items, including S.Zorig’s chess set, suits, and bag, and photos documentin­g the history of the democratic revolution in Mongolia.

A letter from S.Zorig to his younger sister, former MP S.Oyun, is also on display.

The exhibition will be on view through April 28.
