Internal Affairs Minister meets with Turkish Ambassador to strengthen law enforcement cooperation

Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs S.Byambatsogt met with Ambassador of Turkey to Mongolia Ahmet Yazal to discuss cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries.

Minister S.Byambatsogt emphasized that the Government of Turkey has contrib- uted greatly to strengthening the capacity of Mongolia’s law enforcement agencies by improving the competence of their officials and by carrying out training workshops.

During their meeting, the sides exchanged views on future plans and possible upcoming projects between the justice and internal affairs sectors of the two nations, agreeing to implement some projects.

Ambassador Yazal said he will focus on the matters that were discussed during the meeting, and that he would convey the Minister’s requests to Turkish officials.
