Social Justice and Sustainability for a Fair and Prosperous World meeting continues
The Progressive Alliance’s fourth meeting, Social Justice and Sustainability for a Fair and Prosperous World, is being held today in Ulaanbaatar.
The Progressive Alliance is focused on East Asian issues, and unites political parties from more than 130 countries. The organization’s mission is to spread social democratic views around the world. MP L.Oyun-Erdene was chosen to be a member of the Progressive Alliance’s Executive Committee during the third meeting held this past March.
The meeting being held in Ulaanbaatar, is being attended by delegates from Great Britain, Australia, Sweden, Portugal, Georgia, Germany, Belgium, India, Malaysia, Morocco, Sudan, and Palestine, representing parliament members from 34 countries, and leaders and heads of political parties.
The meeting’s attendees will continue discussing social stability, justice, freedom, human rights, and economics, as well as the situation in the developing countries of Asia.
M.Enkhbold, head of the Mongolian People’s Party, opened the conference and said, “The MPP is one of the oldest political par- ties involved in the country’s independence, our party will celebrate its 100th anniversary soon. The Progressive Alliance’s policy matches our party’s mission.”
