Head of Surveillance and Research Department of the NCID A.Ambaselmaa:
Three people who came through the Moscow-Ulaanbaatar flight were considered as suspicious cases and were isolated at the NCID. Others are being placed in observation posts, and we will be analyzing them today and conduct more testing. More testing is also being conducted on people who came from the United States.
COVID19 patients are receiving antiviral therapy and immunosuppressive therapy. We treated people infected with the coronavirus for about six months. Based on experience and WHO guidelines, treatment and services are provided. Antibiotic treatment is not for everyone. This treatment is applied only in patients with pneumonia and less severe conditions.
In addition, our country does not import chicken from China. Raw meat has been banned from entering the country since the first outbreak in the country. We are also carrying out laboratory tests at border checkpoints and intensifying surveillance.
