58 Doro Nawas About 20 km north of Twyfelfont­ein. It’s an upmarket place with a view of the Aba-Huab River Valley and the Etendeka Mountains towards the north. Stand on the roof of the restaurant with a sundowner in hand and marvel at the landscape stretched out all around you.

Units (sleep 2 – 4) cost from R2 190 p.p. sharing (B&B). The restaurant looks out over the Aba-Huab riverbed. There’s a pool to escape the worst heat of the day. twyfelfont­einlodge.com 61 Aba-Huab Camp The camp is nothing fancy, but it has a great location right next to the Aba-Huab River, so you might see the desert elephants that pass by from time to time.
