NISSAN’S new electricmotor drivetrain

Nissan recently introduced its new drive system called ePOWER. It marks the first time that this technology is available for consumers, a significant milestone in the electrification strategy under Nissan Intelligent Mobility. E-POWER borrows from the EV technology perfected in the Nissan LEAF but adds a small petrol engine to charge the battery when necessary, eliminating the need for an external charger.
