Khomas Loyalty Fund expands footprints
The Khomas Loyalty Fund (KLF), the brainchild of Dr Christo Burger of Khomas Medical Centre, recently expanded its footprints to northern Namibia. Currently operational at all Khomas Medical Health facilities in Windhoek and Mondesa/Swakopmund, the Khomas Loyalty Fund provides, to all its members, access to private healthcare.
Speaking via a media statement, this weekend, Dr Burger, said he was proud to expand the footprints of the KLF. In doing so, the KLF will definitely offer more Namibians access to quality and affordable healthcare, which is often too expensive for the larger number of Namibians.
The KLF team has plans to roll out its offerings to Namibians throughout the country and this expansion to the north is onestep closer to making that dream a reality. With the expansion, the team has now added the towns of Tsumeb and Ruacana/Oshifo were KLF cardholders can visit Dr DHS Badenhorst in Tsumeb and Dr R Kanime in Ruacana / Oshifo.
With a three months waiting period, the Khomas Loyalty Fund offers three different options for members, which include an option for private patients, a family top up option as well as an individual top up option. These gives members access to private general practitioner consultations, acute medication, selective blood tests and funeral benefits underwritten by Sanlam.
Burger said the application process for a KLF card has been made as easy as possible and that the process of signing up is quick and easy and can be done at any of the Khomas Medical branches.
Burger added that he is confident and extremely excited that this new product, the KLF, will change the medical industry by offering Namibians a chance to access private health facilities. He also indicated that plans are at an advanced stage to expand into other towns in the country. The KLF is also looking at establishing a state-of-the-art medical facility with other role players in the north.
