The social media streets were flocked with congratulatory messages from all corners when users saw a post by socialite Betty Davids sharing the news that she is engaged with a caption: #LoverOfLife...A good man changes nothing about you except your last name.

The Facebook post received more than 2 700 reactions, about 290 comments and 33 shares with some saying despite, whatever happens, the two are meant to be together, they are a beautiful couple and look extraordinary.

Magdalena Melani posted: “Congratulations, I pray for God to continue to bless this union and cover it under he’s Blood in Jesus name only, my boeta. I am sure your mommy and aunty Siska in heaven are celebrating this beautiful Union. I am thrilled happy. Oh yes, Holy Spirit thank u for confirming my friends are getting married this year.”

On her Instagram stories this week, Davids thanked all the warm wishes and that appreciates them. “I can’t repost everyone’s mentions but I see them all, thank you for the congratulatory messages and well wishes. They are appreciated. Blessings to you all. Sending you a virtual hug,” read the post.

Nicknamed Mrs K, Davids is engaged to businessman Shapwa Kanyama. In the pictures loaded on her page at Spitzkoppe Campsites, Davids decided not to show her fiancé’s face which garnered unsolicited comments of people trying to find out why she is hiding his face. “Why is mee Betty hiding the good man ano,” wondered Lempie Joel while Shitaleni Prince Gerson said congratulations but next time don’t hide the good man’s face if you are proud to have him?

Although the couple hasn’t set a date, we can already imagine how extravagant the ceremony will be.

Davids late last year received, what she termed, a push gift which was a white Mercedes-AMG G 63 from her significant other after she gave birth to their healthy bouncing baby boy.
