New Boards appointed at DBN, NamibRe, Namfisa and NSA
Last week, four entities announced their new Boards of Directors to ensure their companies' prosperity and for the boards to collectively direct their affairs while meeting the appropriate interests of its shareholders and relevant stakeholders.
Finance minister Ipumbu Shiimi, in consultation with the public enterprises' ministry, last week announced the new Development Bank of Namibia (DBN), the Namibia Reinsurance Corporation (NamibRe), and the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) boards.
The boards will serve for three years, effective 01 September 2021 to 31 August 2024.
Furthermore, the Director General of the National Planning Commission Obeth Kandjoze last week appointed a new Board of Directors to oversee the affairs of the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA), effective August 2021 until July 2024.
