Bidvest Namibia IT becomes Acunam Technology Group

“As of 01 September, Bidvest Namibia IT is known as Acunam Technology Group, and we are extremely excited about this change and the future of our group and its customers,” said Pierre Joubert, new owner of Acunam Technology Group. Joubert, who was instrumental in establishing Bidvest Namibia IT more than 10 years ago, explained that the ownership opportunity was presented to him due to strategic changes within the Bidvest Namibia group.

He enthused: “During the past 10 years, we have built an awesome team, and I’m so proud of what we have achieved. I am very grateful for the opportunity, and thankful of my fellow shareholders, The Logos Group, who assisted in making this dream come true.”

“The foundation of the name Acunam is derived from the word Acumen, which refers to a keen insight, especially in business matters. Acumen encapsulates quickness, accuracy and discernment. The ‘nam’ in Acunam refers to Namibia because we’re Namibian, and we love our country and its people! Acunam is a unique and unmistakable name.
