Keep writing letters

What a joy it is to write a letter and receive one in return… the thought and effort taken to compile a letter to loved ones abroad, Christmas cards dispatched with love, the describing of a life miles away yet shared in the intimacy of the written word. While some deem this antiquated and outmoded, I think it’s vital to keep engaged in more than just a ‘tweet’ or a ‘like’ on Facebook. So I embrace the pen and love it when my granddaughter sends me a letter or card from Feilding or my niece writes to me from England. JOYCE OWENS
