If you’re eat­ing lots of small meals through­out the day to help lose weight, be­ware of ex­ces­sive snack­ing. There is lit­tle ev­i­dence to prove this is an ef­fec­tive way to man­age weight. It may be best to stick to three nu­tri­tious meals a day and only snack when you are gen­uinely hun­gry, opt­ing for fruit, nuts or hum­mus with raw veges.
