your stars for March

Pisces Feb 20-Mar 20

Rare patterns dominate your life around your birthday. If your finances are tied up with another Pisces or Virgo then March will change both your lives. No matter who is involved with your money, house, business interests, charity, apartment or possessions, you must allow plenty of time and space for radical decisions. You know the dollar value of what is under discussion in the first week, but by the last week you must put a price on the things that money cannot buy and do different sums.

Aries ● Mar 21-Apr 21

Have faith in the future of the relationship you have with your former, current or potential partner, as it will work out for the best. You two may be dealing with commitment questions or a split near March 3. Less dramatically, issues about fairness, balance and harmony between you will need to be tackled. Uranus in your own sign of Aries reminds you that two matter more than one – and your reward for seeing both sides will come to you over the next eight months. Dating someone new? You won’t be bored, Aries.

Taurus ● Apr 22-May 21

You will find that all your efforts to improve your lifestyle are worth it, Taurus, despite an uphill battle on two occasions this month. You have been given opportunities and solutions to help your work, university, unpaid work or full-time parenting and these are worth pursuing. You can be stubborn when you choose, so do not let anything or anybody put you off a better daily existence. This also applies to your health and fitness. Keep chasing important solutions. You will be happy you persisted by October.

Gemini ● May 22-Jun 22

Babies, children or Millennials bring their own rewards and challenges in March, especially near the clash between Jupiter, the planet of opportunity, and Uranus, the planet of change, near the 3rd. Your paid or unpaid work with younger people may be the issue, or perhaps your concern is with family members. It’s important you remember why you were so positive about plans originally. Optimism and faith will reward you in the end, even if the outcome is different to your original dream.

Cancer ● Jun 23-Jul 23

Cancer the crab carries her home on her back in the form of a shell, and your house, apartment, home town or homeland is extremely important to you. Do not be put off by any passing challenges in March as your vision of a bigger and better result is correct. The details may change between now and October, but you should be able to achieve stunning results in the end. Your career, course, unpaid work or full-time parenting brings radical changes in the first week. Don’t hang on to 2016. Choose freedom.

Leo ● Jul 24-Aug 23

By October you will be rewarded for your persistence with the internet, multimedia, education, publishing or other outlets for your communication skills. It is very important that you pass the tests which are placed in front of you as these will help you refine your ideas or reshape your plans. Leo, allow for delays or changes with travel, interstate or overseas people and places from March 27 onwards. Don’t leave anything to chance and double-check everything if you are embarking on a journey from that date.

Virgo ● Aug 24-Sep 23

This is the most important month of the year for your finances, house, business interests, possessions, charity or apartment. Do all you can before your ruler, Mercury, enters the retrograde shadow period from March 27 as after that date one sale, purchase or deal could get bogged down or be changed. This is a good time to seek experience and expertise over money matters. By October, you will be very happy that you asked for advice as you will make or save money. Remember, you can’t buy independence.

Libra ● Sep 24-Oct 23

Try to finalise important discussions or paperwork involving your former, current or potential partner before March 27 as the process could be long and drawn out after that date. This applies to professional double-acts as well as personal relationships.

The other person concerned will teach you why freedom is so important and why independence is precious. The bond you share must change now and it’s best not to hang onto the past. Keep moving forward, even if life feels new and different.

Scorpio ● Oct 24-Nov 22

Believe it or not, from May 2018 you will no longer find that your lifestyle, workload, health and fitness has to be reorganised every six months.

Until then, you must be as flexible as possible, because the clash between Jupiter and Uranus near March 3 suggests new challenges. You will take these on, as you have done before. When in doubt, seek second opinions and do not turn away from radical alternatives. Freelancing? Vegetarianism? You will invent your own answers to work or body questions and make new rules.

Sagittarius ● Nov 23-Dec 21

Remember why you still believe in your group and why particular friends matter so much. It is through these people that you will continue to achieve amazing things in 2017, so hang on to your hopes and wishes. In the first and last week of March, your ruling planet, Jupiter, is involved in unusual patterns which suggest challenges and changes. That is part of the process with any team, club or community of people, so take it in your stride. Decisions involving children should be finalised before the 27th to avoid delays or changes later.

Capricorn ● Dec 22-Jan 20

If you want to stay at the peak of your profession or just get there, remember that you are linked to the mountain goat who climbs steadily to the top and hangs on firmly when conditions are precarious. This also applies to your course, unpaid work or full-time parenting, Capricorn. Success will be on your own terms this year, so persist with your vision of what real achievement means to you. By October one particular goal – or a similar version – will be within your reach, so keep on working towards it.

Aquarius ● Jan 21-Feb 19

Your ruler, Uranus, clashes with Jupiter on March 3 in areas of your horoscope ruling travel, the internet, education, books, multimedia and long-distance connections. You will need to invent a new way to deal with these areas of your life and your reward for breaking with the past will be new freedom. Any project, organisation, person or technology which has tied you down will either have to change or leave your life. The result will be a new way of looking at the web, and also people from interstate or overseas.
