My son has been en­rolled to start pri­mary school, but at a re­cent ori­en­ta­tion day I found out many of the kids that will be in his class haven’t been vac­ci­nated. Should I be wor­ried? A.S. Par­ents of the non-im­mu­nised chil­dren have more to worry about be­cause those chil­dren will be more vul­ner­a­ble to vac­cine-pre­ventable diseases to which they be­come ex­posed. Th­ese par­ents rely on par­ents like you to re­duce their child’s risk of ex­po­sure to in­fec­tions.
