How good are YOUR BRUSHING SKILLS?

We know it’s important to keep your body fit, but what about your mouth? The Colgate Get Mouth Fit Campaign is all about upskilling your oral health care habits – with a little help from rugby star Kieran Read.

You’ve heard of strength training, weight training and personal training. Keeping your body fit is great but what about your mouth? The health of your mouth is just as important as the rest of your body. That’s why Colgate has launched the Get Mouth Fit Campaign – and who better to help support it than one of the fittest guys in the country? Rugby captain Kieran Read has worked hard at being fit and healthy his entire life. He keeps his mouth fit too, using Colgate toothpaste since he was a kid – and he still uses it today! “I brush twice a day with my Colgate Total toothpaste, my teeth need to be well looked after,” says Kieran. “I’ve been told I need to floss a bit more so I’m working on that too,” he adds with a laugh.

LOCK IN GOOD HABITS

Simple daily brushing routines, flossing, visits to the dentist and replacing your toothbrush regularly all add up to a healthier mouth. With young kids, it’s important to lock in those habits early on. “Fun toothbrushes certainly have worked for our kids,” says Kieran, “and also routine, making sure we brush before school and before they go to bed.”

IMPROVE YOUR SKILLS!

Brushing twice a day with Colgate is much easier than some of the fitness programmes out there – and it can make such a difference to your life! So how good are your oral care skills? Take the Colgate Get Mouth Fit test today! Visit www.getmouthfit.co.nz.
