Roast­ing nuts brings out the flavour. There are two ways to do it. Spread nuts onto an oven tray; roast in a 180°C (160°C fan-forced) oven for 5 min­utes, stir­ring once, un­til nuts are golden brown. Or place nuts in a heavy-based fry­ing pan; stir con­stantly over medium-high heat un­til they are evenly brown.
