ART IN THE CITY

If you haven’t been yet, head to Tauranga before June 15 for the Oi! YOU Collection, part of the city’s one-of-a-kind Street Art Festival. It features the most extensive exhibition of work by secretive street artist Banksy ever shown in the Southern Hemisphere, with 22 of his works on display. In addition, seven internationally acclaimed street artists are creating bespoke murals and installations at Tauranga Art Gallery and taking to the streets to transform blank walls into works of art.
