Young Ki­wis are turn­ing to junk food for com­fort, then re­gret­ting the de­ci­sion af­ter­wards. A study of 1071 New Zealan­ders found 40 per cent of par­tic­i­pants ad­mit­ted they were aware their health and eat­ing habits need to be im­proved. Seventy-five per cent of those aged be­tween 18 and 34 ad­mit­ted feel­ing guilty for eat­ing fast food, and 56 per cent in the 35 to 44 age group felt sim­i­lar guilt.
