What to plant in November

-

Flowers: Everything! Go wild at the garden centre with every shrub and perennial you can’t resist, as well as annuals such as ageratum, Californian poppy, marigolds, nasturtium, petunias, salvia, sunflowers and zinnias. Fuit and veg: Again, everything – except melons, pumpkin and zucchini in hot, humid areas where they may (or will definitely) get downy mildew. Must-haves include at least two kinds of tomato, basil, lots of parsley, chives, elegant round zucchini and corn for those who have never tasted how wonderful corn on the cob fresh from the garden is.
