You can keep Pickled Cherries at room temperatur­e for up to 12 months if jars are sterilised correctly. Once opened, keep refrigerat­ed. To sterilise jars, place lids and jars lying down in a saucepan of warm water. Bring to the boil; boil for 20 minutes. Carefully drain the water from jars; stand upright on a wooden board. Place jars in a 120°C oven to keep warm until Pickled Cherries are ready to bottle.
