You can keep Pickled Cherries at room temperature for up to 12 months if jars are sterilised correctly. Once opened, keep refrigerated. To sterilise jars, place lids and jars lying down in a saucepan of warm water. Bring to the boil; boil for 20 minutes. Carefully drain the water from jars; stand upright on a wooden board. Place jars in a 120°C oven to keep warm until Pickled Cherries are ready to bottle.
