THE LAST TRAIN

Based on the Dundee Tay Bridge train disaster of 1879, Sue Lawrence’s novel links the fictional disappearances of two men more than a century apart. Mill owner Robert Craig should have been on the train, but his wife Ann is told he may not have taken his seat. In 2015 Fiona Craig wakes one morning to find her partner, Pete, has vanished. The two stories run on parallel tracks as Ann and Fiona discover the fate of their men.
