INSPIRATIONS:

actress Amanda Billing

-

My nickname is... Billing.

My most prized possession is... My iPhone. I was born in the 1970s and this kind of thing still blows my mind. If I could invite any three people (alive or dead) to a dinner party, they would be… Ugh, too many to choose. Right now I’d choose Helen Mirren and Olivia Colman because they’re my acting heroes, and Jon Hamm because he’s a total babe and an acting hero too.

My fondest childhood memory is… Playing at my house. It was amazing: a big, rambling (maybe haunted) villa, small orchard, big Para pool, massive vege garden, stream running across the back of the section, a horse in the paddock over the fence, creepy stands of trees that seemed like something out of a fairytale, so many fruit trees. It was an acre of heaven on earth for a little girl and her friends. I loved it so much.

What is one item you could never live

without? Perfume. My favourites are: Ambre Maquis (from Mecca Cosmetica) Map of the Heart #4 and Boccanera (both from World). If I had to choose another career I would

be… An art teacher or a translator. The item I would save from a fire is… My

grandmother’s ring.

My favourite pastime is… Art, in general. Reading – non-fiction mostly. Watching documentaries. Devouring Netflix/ Lightbox/Neon/Amazon Prime. Three words my friends would use to

describe me… Creative, independent, busy. My greatest fear is… Dying painfully.

Who do you admire the most? Anyone who runs their own business, doing something they’ve always wanted to. If I had my pick of projects I would love

to work on, it would be... A costume drama

for telly.
