NICOLE KIDMAN’S versatility knows no bounds. This year she has adopted three wildly different looks for three different projects. She is the big-haired wife of a Baptist pastor in Boy Erased, the story of a gay conversion programme. She is unrecognisable as Erin Bell in Destroyer, a gritty crime film about a former undercover detective. And she is the red-haired Mrs Barbour in The Goldfinch, a role that will also see her in a grey wig and ageing prosthetics.
