Specsavers has recently launched a $6.5 million investment in technology that will detect threatening eye diseases, including glaucoma and macular degeneration, much earlier and more accurately. The hospital-grade imaging technology, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), will be available in each of the 52 stores across New Zealand. It is hoped this will be a major breakthrough in improving eye health across NZ.
