PLAYFUL Easy cool-girl waves, with a glamorous Hollywood edge.

Blast dry using fingers. Gentle brush and mist lightly with sea salt spray for grit. With a small curling iron or wand, take random

sections and wrap them around, allowing hair to twist. Leave 5cm of ends straight and once head is done, thoroughly brush. Tousle, make a side part and tuck one side behind ear. Spray with flexible hairspray.

ELEGANT A modern take on a classic finger-wave.

Dry your hair using a large paddle brush, blasting and brushing it from one side to the other to minimise volume and add shine. When dry, comb hair and separate a 2.5cm square to create an “s-wave” by bending the hair one way and then the other with a flat iron or styler. Once cool, comb and mould it into shape and fix with a strong-hold hairspray.

SLEEK A modern look which enhances cheekbones.

Make a clean parting on one side. Apply moisturising mousse to the roots and comb through with a fine-tooth comb. Using a Denman or large paddle brush, blow dry your hair close to your head until dry. Lock it into place with a strong-hold hairspray.

FULL A timeless classic with sweeping side part.

Make a clean side part, apply volumising mousse to roots and

a light styling lotion to the mid-lengths and ends. Throw hair upside down and blast until

95 per cent dry. Using a large round brush with natural bristles, blow dry in nine or 10 sections, lifting hair high for volume. Clip each in a curl until cool then release and comb. Add shine serum and flexible hairspray.
