Van hits powerpole

More than 400 homes and businesseswere left without power yesterday after a van hit a powerpole at 2.30pm causing it to snap. The single-vehicle crash was on Pyes Pa Rd and the driver was not injured. Power was cut around 3.21pm and last night, Power Co estimated it would be restored by 11pm.
