A not-for-profit music festival about mental health, finding hope and choosing life.

The River Sounds Festival is a communityf­ocused music festival dedicated to mental health awareness, with 100% of profits being donated to Music Helps and Te Whare Mahana Trust. Outdoor Murals & Sculptures – maps available from the Katikati Informatio­n Centre to take you on the trail to see over 78 outdoor works of art. www.katikatiop­enairart.co.nz Katikati Haiku Pathway – the haiku have been hand carved onto boulders and placed so each poem reflects its setting, this pathway is believed to be the largest display of boulder haiku outside Japan. Entrance by Katikati Hammer Hardware.
