The latest development from the team at Indel Webasto is Inox Clean Touch stainless steel, featured in Indel Webasto’s Cruise marine refrigerator range. This new 304 stainless steel has been treated to avoid the fingerprint marks that are common with standard stainless doors. With the new SE25, Side-power adds another model to its extensive range. It has a tunnel diameter of only 110mm and is suitable for vessels up to 7.3m, depending on windage area. The SE25 also offers tremendous installation flexibility, as the thruster can be installed on the tunnel at any angle and the thruster motor can be rotated on the motor bracket in 90° steps. SE25 bow thrusters are galvanic insulated and feature Side-power’s IPC technology for intelligent power control and safety. The SE25 is only available for bow installation. The new Enerdrive EPOWER B-tec lithium battery range is designed as a single deep-cycle battery, replacing conventional battery box sizes. Available in 12V 100AH, 125AH and 200AH capacities, B-tec batteries provide 60 percent more usable power than their lead-acid equivalents, but are 50 percent lighter and smaller. Each unit has an in-built battery management system (BMS) that monitors each cell during battery operation, providing over-charge, over-discharge, over-temperature and short-circuit protection. The battery incorporates wireless smart phone monitoring technology via Bluetooth. By downloading the free Android or Apple app to your smartphone or tablet, you can monitor the battery voltage, capacity, state of charge, battery state of health and much more. Mercury Marine’s new Vesselview 903, the largest, most advanced version of its range of multifunction displays, is now available. With a 23cm screen and a 16x9 aspect ratio, the 903’s bright, high-definition glass touchscreen, coated to reduce glare, and with dimmable lighting, is easy to read. A remote-control button interface is optional. The 903 can be integrated with any Simrad accessory for the Go9 product line – radar, sonar transducers, fish finder transducers, AIS, VHF, Sonic Hub/ Fusion Link/siriusxm, C-zone/ Naviop digital switching and more. It also has built-in 10Hz GPS and chart plotter capability (electronic chart cards available separately). Auto notification of software updates is via the embedded Wifi. Vesselview technology displays information for up to four engines and provides a descriptive fault text display, as well as information, for more than 30 engine parameters. These include fuel data, oil temperature and pressure, battery voltage, water depth and genset. With Vesselview Link boaters can fully integrate the propulsion system with other devices via NMEA2000.
