Golf women win trophy

Both produced high scores on the day and contribute­d to the competitio­n.

Results: Tuesday April 3 — 4BBB. A small field of 11 played on Tuesday in a four ball best ball competitio­n. Debbie Henricksen played in a group of three where she was the partner of each of her playing partners. 1 C Daysh and D Small 58 nett, 2 = M Brislane and R Squires / S Ross and M Jensen. Thursday April 5 Pahiatua Ladies Open Day. There were 72women from Pahiatua, as well as from Hawke’s Bay and Wairarapa playing. There were three divisions, and the competitio­n was nett, gross and Stableford for each section. A side competitio­n between Pahiatua, Waipukurau, Takapau and Dannevirke for the best average Stableford points saw Pahiatua retain the Friendship shield.
