WATCH Fishing gear stolen in boat burglary Thefts, drunk driving dominate police stats

Norsewood/Dannevirke/ Pongaroa:

On September 4 an outboard motor and fishing gear were stolen from a boat stored at a property on Cadman Street, Dannevirke.

Over the last two weeks Dannevirke police have processed three people for driving under the influence of alcohol and dealt with six people for driving contrary to their driver’s license conditions.

In the last week Dannevirke police have attended three family violence incidents.

Eketa¯ huna/Pahiatua/ Woodville:

On September 2 a driver of a motor vehicle on the Saddle Road driving under the influence of alcohol failed to negotiate a bend and crashed.

On September 5 corrugated iron was stolen from a building site on Pollen Street, Woodville.

On September 8 Woodville police attended an assault at a licensed premises in the town. The matter is still under investigat­ion.

On September 8 a commercial property in Woodville was purposely damaged.

Review of CCTV footage identified an offender and they are being dealt with by police.

On September 9 a calf was stolen from the paddock on Range Road Woodville.

On September 10 there was a burglary at an address on Patterson Street Pahiatua. No property was taken.

Woodville police attended two family harm incidents over the past week.

Pahiatua police have processed one driver for driving under the influence of alcohol and have attended two family violence matters this past week.
