There were nine ap­pli­ca­tions from through­out the dis­trict seek­ing over $16,000 in fund­ing for the Au­gust fund­ing al­lo­ca­tion.

With the com­mit­tee hav­ing around $10,800 to al­lo­cate to all these very worth­while and ex­cit­ing projects, there was much dis­cus­sion.

He­len Raroa - $1000.00 to­wards Marae based hol­i­day pro­gramme in the Oc­to­ber and sum­mer school hol­i­days

Dan­nevirke Theatre - $1701.00 to­wards the Play nAllo Al­loo

Tararua REAP - $1000.00 to­wards Yi­padee s Ima­gaineer­ing chil­dren through in­spi­ra­tional sto­ries and mu­sic
