Creative Communities NZ – Tararua Funding Round May 2021
The Tararua branch of Creative Communities NZ met recently to allocate funding. there were 26 applications received totalling over $60.000 for the March funding round. A total of $21,172.83 was allocated to local projects in the Tararua District.
The successful applicants are as follows:
Melody Makers - $625.00 towards over 60's singing songs from the 60's
Tararua College - $920.86 towards Amazing Race Maori & Pasifika Noho
Te Ahu A Turanga Marae - $810.00 towards teaching Karanga and History
Dannevirke Art Society - $1000.00 for two Artist workshops

$1140.00 towards "Kakahu Wananga"
Foto Iwi Charitable Trust - $1500.00 towards creative workshops in Schools/Libraries
Dannevirke Theatre - $225.65 towards the Play "The Book Club"
Dannevirke Spinning & Weaving - $1000.00 towards "Spin In".

Pahiatua Repertory - $27.00 towards the "Dare to Devise Challenge"
Pahiatua Repertory - $526.00 towards "Theatre in the Bush"
Dannevirke Pipe Band - $1500.00 towards Tutoring drumming students
