Movie night: There is a film evening at the Maungataut­ari Visitor Centre, 99 Tari Rd, Pukeatua from 7pm - 8pm. An evening of films and fun at the Sanctuary Mountain Visitor Centre. Enjoy short animated short films created by very talented local kids followed by prizegivin­g. It is a free event. Trivia: Walking for a Good Cause Trivia Night is on at Stables Bar on Alpha St. A team of former Cambridge Edition staff members are walking 100km over 36 hours for the Oxfam Trailwalke­r, which is part of an internatio­nal series. The organisati­on works with communitie­s to equip them with recourses such as water sanitation and education. Tables are $150 with the chance to win that money back as well as a $100 bar tab. Signed boxing gloves by Joseph Parker will be up for auction as well. for friends, family and clients. Farmers: The Young Farmers Alumni Launch is on at the Sir Don Rowlands Centre, Mighty River Domain from 5pm - 10.30pm. It is 18+, $50 per person. It is to celebrate the success of the club within the Waikato/Bay of Plenty region in 2016 and the launch of the NZYF Alumni membership. Chief executive Terry Copeland will speak on the new initiative. With 84 years of Best Club, Best Event, membership growth, service to YF, Health and Safety, Community Engagement and Best District Final. It will also include a region debating final. The dress code is semi-formal. and 5. Dogs: The Cambridge Dog Obedience Champ Show is on at the Cambridge Dog Obedience Club, McKinnon Park, corner of Taylor St and Swayne Rd, from 8am - 3pm. Free admission.
