Cambridge Antiques vs Hamilton Planks Captain Webb lost the toss and the Antiques were put in the field. Wicket takers for the Antiques were: Rudie Swanepoel 2-29 in 4 overs, Neil Rogers 1-19 in 4 overs, Pete Bridgens 1-20 in 4 overs, Garry Webb 1-21 in 5 overs and Jason Pope 1-21 in 4 overs.

The game went right down to the wire and the Antiques needed 11 runs of the last 2 overs to win the game with the score on 213 with 2 recycled batsman Garry Webb and Pete Bridgens still to come.

Colin McEldowny on 14 runs not-out showed his years of cricket experience under pressure and kept his cool while wickets were falling at the other end.

The Antiques were 221/9 with only Pete and Colin left to score 3 runs of the last ball to win the game.

Pete had a big swing at the last ball. A fielder managed to get a hand to the ball and that was just enough to prevent the ball from racing to the boundary. Pete and Colin ran two runs and the scores were all tied up on 223/9 ending the game in a tie.
