Football: Cambridge vs Waikato Unicol (WaiBOP Premiership Football) at John Kerkhof Park from 12.45pm. Birds: The 115th Waikato Poultry and Pigeon Club Championship Show is on at Hamilton Gardens from 12pm. This year’s annual show will showcase a wide variety of pure breed poultry, bantams, ducks, homing pigeons and fancy pigeons as well as related trade stalls. Tickets are $5 at the door.
