Drugs, guns in house

Drugs and firearms were found in a New Windsor house after police responded to reports of a home invasion.

Police were called to the house on Methuen Rd last Tuesday night after a person with a gun was seen trying to get inside. That person was not located but two men from the house were arrested.

One was due to appear in the Auckland District Court yesterday to face drugs and firearms charges while the second was arrested for breaching his bail conditions.

Police say others are helping with inquiries.
