Art in the dark

Got a glowing idea? Art in the Dark returns this year and organisers are calling for entries. Artists from home and abroad are invited to submit a proposal based on the theme ‘‘out of nothing’’. Art in the Dark, held at Ponsonby’s Western Park from November 13 to 16, celebrates its fifth year. Due to popular demand it is extending to four nights with 100,000 visitors expected, organisers say. Registrations close May 30. Go to artinthedark.co.nz/artistregistration for more details.
