Church con­fer­ence open to all

City Im­pact Church is ex­cited to be launch­ing SUM­MIT – a brand new con­fer­ence that is open to the pub­lic, and ev­ery­one is in­vited.

Run­ning from Wed­nes­day July 9 to Fri­day July 11 at its North Shore base with spe­cial ser­vices on Sun­day July 6 and 13, the con­fer­ence is ex­pected to draw thou­sands of people from across New Zealand and over­seas.

The im­pres­sive line-up of in­ter­na­tional speak­ers and artists in­cludes Paul Scan­lon from the UK, Jur­gen Matthe­sius from San Diego, Lind­sey Seals from Florida and a guest ap­pear­ance by the Wa­toto Chil­dren’s Choir from Africa.

Paul Scan­lon, Se­nior Leader of Life Church in the UK for many years, is renowned for his ca­pac­ity to em­power people and help them dis­cover and re­lease their un­tapped po­ten­tial.

Jur­gen Matthe­sius and his wife Leanne are the Lead Pas­tors at C3 San Diego. Born in Ger­many, Jur­gen grew up in Syd­ney and lived in Auck­land for a num­ber of years be­fore re­lo­cat­ing to the US. With ex­pe­ri­ence in lead­er­ship de­vel­op­ment and a down-to-earth, re­lat­able style, Jur­gen’s unique hu­mour and pow­er­packed mes­sages are set to both mo­ti­vate and en­ter­tain.

Lind­sey Seals, from Ocala, Florida, brings a cut­ting edge spin to Chris­tian wor­shipHis first New Zealand ap­pear­ance.

Watato Chil­dren’s Choirs have trav­elled in­ter­na­tion­ally since 1994 as ad­vo­cates for the es­ti­mated 50 mil­lion chil­dren in Africa that have been or­phaned as a re­sult of HIV/AIDS, war, poverty and dis­ease.
