Perfect your English skills
Is perfecting your English language skills one of your resolutions for 2015? If so, you need to speak to the friendly team at DynaSpeak.
DynaSpeak is a language school that is a part of Te Wananga o Aotearoa. It has five campuses across Auckland in Queen Street, Albany, New Lynn, Botany and Manukau.
There’s no better time to join DynaSpeak as this year the school is delivering a New Zealand Certificate in English Language (NZCEL). This is a new national qualification introduced to replace two of its old programmes – the Certificate in English for Speakers of other Languages and the Certificate in Practical English.
The new qualification provides a clear pathway to further studies or to enter into a career. Students will gain a nationally recognised and credible qualification issued by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA), which will make it easier to transfer between New Zealand education providers.
DynaSpeak offers Level 1 foundation and level 1, 2 and 3 courses at all its sites. NZQA approval for level 4 is pending, but once approved it will be taught in Queen Street and Albany only. The school is also a Cambridge Examination Test Centre.
This programme aims to teach students how to use the English language in real world settings, including reading, writing, speaking and listening. At levels 3 and 4, students will be able to choose from general, academic and workplace English and will also be introduced to New Zealand’s diverse society and the unique Maori culture.
Class requirements for the course are 12 to 15 hours per week for 18 weeks, and the curriculum is made up of a mixture of compulsory face to face learning and self-directed study. There are also plenty of class times to choose from to suit each student’s individual routine.
If you’re a migrant with a permanent resident status, a citizen over 16 years of age, have pre purchased ESOL or have a certified refugee status, make sure you get yourself enrolled in this FREE programme for 2015.
